Locate in the heart of Sorsogon. the hotel’s owner, Gina Duran, is its good fortune. She knows the region well, loves it, and takes pains to quaint visitors with the area, in an effort to promote ecotourism. She is full of good advice and can even organize a variety of excursions.

In a region that does not have many tourists, such concern merits making Fernandos Hotel a base from which to visit the province. Its central location is convenient for visiting the different attractions of Sorsogon. Aside from the usual places to visit, Fernandos recommends a series of excursions mentioned in the practical page.

The hotel is a simple two-story building with a small garden patio. The ground floor has a reception area and a restaurant that looks onto this patio through large French windows left open on fine days.

This is the best place to unwind, as the ambiance is warm and bright. The wicker and the wood sofas, pink sandstone floors, green plants and fans with opaline lamps give it a quaint, antique style. You can have an idea of the region by viewing video cassettes in the drawing room. The restaurant and bar are in the extension of the reception area. In the evening, bamboo tables and chairs are set up on the patio.

Some rooms on the ground floor near the restaurant can get quite noisy. The others are on the second floor and are linked by a corridor overlooking the restauran. These rooms are large and clean with a gray sandstone floors and simple, functional furniture.

All the rooms have a view of the garden, which is left somewhat untended on the other side of the building.
